Rogue Company is a free-to-play multiplayer tactical third-person hero shooter video game published by Hi-Rez Studios and developed by First Watch Games.

The game went into open beta on October 1, 2020 for Microsoft Windows via the Epic Games Store, Steam, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch, with an Xbox Series X/S release on November 25, 2020 and a PlayStation 5 release on March 30, 2021.

Cross-platform play and progression are fully supported in the game. The game is inspired by the Counter-Strike tactical shooter series.

Rogue Company Gameplay

Rogue Company includes a variety of playable characters known as Rogues. The game includes objective-based game modes as well as a variety of maps.

Matches are divided into rounds, with each round beginning with both teams skydiving from the aircraft to the map below to compete in various objectives.

Players can use the money they earned from completing tasks and eliminating players in the previous round to buy and upgrade weapons, equipment, and perks between rounds.

Several game modes have been revealed: Extraction is a 4v4 game mode in which the attacking team is tasked with hacking an objective; the round’s winner is determined once the objective has been hacked or all players on a team have been eliminated.

Strikeout is an Extraction variant in which players can respawn after being eliminated, with each team having a limited number of respawns per round.

In this mode, victory is attained by killing enemies until there are no more respawns available. This is more easily accomplished by hacking the objective, which is an area rather than a box.

Demolition is a 4v4 mode in which one team must plant a bomb in a certain amount of time. Wingman is a 2v2 game mode similar to Strikeout but with fewer respawns and teams of two.
